About Us
Coyote Lake Feeders LLC is a 34,000 head custom cattle feeding operation located 17 miles southwest of Muleshoe, Texas. The yard slopes to the south, which gives good drainage and south exposure to the sun during winter months. The feedyard history started in the late 1960s, but it has grown in size and also changed owners in 2019.
Coyote Lake Feeders LLC is a member of both the Texas Cattle Feeders Association (TCFA) and Consolidated Beef Producers (CBP). Our team is experienced with the marketing of fed cattle a number of different ways to the five Texas-area processing plants. We use the services of Nathan Elam, of Nutrition Service Associates, for all of our ration formulations and any other nutrition work. Dr. Jeff Platter, of Western Veterinary Associates, is our veterinarian.
